About_

JULIA GOLDSWORTHY is a multi-disciplinary creative designer and maker from Melbourne. They've worked as a Prop Master for film and television for the past five years and gained qualifications in Production Design, Interior Design and Textile Design. Julia's current work consists of textiles research and development for their practice Soft Creature Studio, technical skill building and freelance creative services.

Julia prioritises colour, texture, space and story telling in their work, choosing to lean into the serendipity that accompanies recycled and second-hand material useage. Their textile work includes embroidery and collage, focusing on the meditation in stitching and beauty in imperfections. Their film design career tends towards humanitarian stories and surreal horror.
