Julia Goldsworthy is a designer in film and television who specialises in buying, set dressing and props. She has been working in the world of art departments since finishing a Masters of Production Design in 2017, a Bachelor of Interior Design in 2013 and a Diploma of Textile Design in 2009.
Her approach to her work focuses on human narrative and the way space and psychology are inextricably linked. She likes to put her energies into projects that are immersive, encourage play and can be accessible to a wide audience.
Julia is especially attracted to the nature of temporary architecture in terms of film, events, exhibition and art, and how it provides the chance to explore alternative approaches to materiality, construction methods, aesthetics and sustainability.
